“Difficult aquisitions”

Acquisitions of “difficult company situations” are conceivable; in these cases the following must apply:
– Outdated technology should not be the cause of the crisis; existing technology must be capable of carrying the company into the next few years.
– The company should not be dependent on individual persons or groups of people, the know-how must be distributed over many shoulders.
– With an acquisition, it should be clear who manages the operative businesses.
  – Avoid simultaneous high complexity of products and applications.
– High number of delivered machines
– An advanced stage of standardization
– Employees with project experience must be present
– Purchasing synergies must be possible with companies of the Schaeff Group
– Products serve identifiable, delimitable, and defensible niches
